Executive Team



Kevin Kaufman is a co-founder and CEO of Traffic Engine, Inc. Prior to founding Traffic Engine, Mr. Kaufman founded a leading Internet Service Provider in Southern California, providing enterprise Internet services to hosting providers, large networks, and the Entertainment industry and spent more than ten years working in at leading technology companies such as Akamai Technologies, SBC, Pacific Bell, Cisco Systems, Nortel, MCI and Allnet.

Kevin graduated from Pepperdine University with a bachelor's degree in business management. In his off hours, he enjoys Taekwondo and spending time with his wife and their four children.

Kevin Murphy is a co-founder and President of Traffic Engine, Inc. Prior to founding Traffic Engine, Kevin spent more than a decade doing sales and business development for companies such as Harvardnet, Akamai Technologies, Quova, and Traffic Sciences.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Kevin traveled the world and studied abroad, earning a degree in International Business and doing his graduate studies in Political Science. After playing Rugby, fighting in the Golden Gloves and becoming a Divemaster at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, Kevin returned to his roots in San Francisco, where he owned and operated a number of successful night clubs.

Diana Lee is the Executive Vice President of Traffic Engine, Inc., bringing more than ten years of experience in online advertising, client services, market research, sales, event planning, public relations and account management with her. Diana has industry-wide experience with display, search, co-registration, email, lead generation, video campaigns and affiliate marketing, as well as experience working with clients and vendors across the United States, Asia, Europe, and Australia.

Diana holds an MBA in Marketing and E-Commerce from Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, and has won numerous awards from Beta Gamma Sigma and Toastmasters International. She is also the presenter and editor for AIDSvideos.org's Mandarin HIV/AIDS awareness video campaigns.

Adam Israel is the Chief Technical Officer of Traffic Engine, Inc., and brings more than fifteen years of experience in software development and information technology, specializing in high-demand Internet applications. Previously, he has built image search and ad delivery technology for Ditto.com and created web sites for high profile clients such as Konami Digital Entertainment and NBC.

Adam is a published author and a proponent of open source software and software reusability. In his free time, Adam writes Science Fiction, speaks at technical conferences on a wide range of topics, collects fountain pens, and spends time with his wife and their cadre of animals.

Ron Johnson is the Chief Marketing Officer at Traffic Engine. Prior to joining the Traffic Engine team, he was the managing partner at International Front, an interactive design and marketing studio specializing in the entertainment and technology verticals. At International Front, Ron oversaw all creative and marketing operations, developing innovative solutions for customers such as FOX Interactive (News Corp.), Activision, Murad, and Electronic Arts.

Ron holds a bachelors of fine arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute. He is also kept busy as the father of two very active boys.

Scott Rabinowitz is the Director of Strategic Partnerships of Traffic Engine, Inc. Scott joined the marketplace in 1998 and his work experience includes several years at the helm of a boutique rep firm with a solid advertiser and publisher client base. Specialties included keyword targeted ads sales, advertiser sourcing and monetization, and managing compliance between advertisers and publishers.

Scott is a professional member of the eMarketing Association, SEMPO and the Web Analytics Association. Over the past few years, he has contributed commentary and articles at media industry outlets, including Marketing Sherpa's ContentBiz, the New York Times, and WebmasterRadio.
